We are the Custom Beer of the Northwoods League
The Northwoods League is a summer collegiate wooden bat league and a proven leader in the development of elite college baseball players. It is also the largest organized baseball league in the world with 20 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 160 former Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including two-time Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (WAS) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (BOS), Jordan Zimmermann (DET), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Lucas Duda (NYM) and two-time World Series Champion Ben Zobrist (CHC).
Based in cities throughout the Midwest, the Northwoods League draws more than 1 million fans annually. While providing the finest environment for the development of collegiate baseball players is the core of the League’s mission, they are able to accomplish that in venues that put entertainment and the fan experience front and center – including through food and beverage options. This, coupled with the immense popularity of craft beer in the region, fueled the development of Five Tool ale.
Five Tool will initially be available at select Northwoods League ballparks in Wisconsin and Illinois. To find out where you can get Five Tool ale on tap, visit Our Locations.

Finding the Right Brewer, Right in our Backyard
The leadership team at K181 Enterprises is entrepreneurial by nature and driven by a passion for what they do. Finding a brewing partner that shared those traits was integral for launching the Five Tool brand. Through connections made while watching a Kenosha Kingfish game, a partnership with Rustic Road Brewing Company, Kenosha, WI, emerged.
In Rustic Road, we found a local brewery that not only ‘loves great beer’, but was willing to set out on adventure with a bunch of baseball folks with the idea to introduce great beer to beer lovers through baseball.
If you are in the Kenosha area, stop by and check out Rustic Road Brewing Co..
